MetaFit utilizes Google Services to sync your fitness and activity data. We explicitly request access to:

Google Fit Activity Data (fitness.activity.read): Used exclusively to display your daily step count, distance, and calories burned on your dashboard.
Google Fit Body Data (fitness.body.read): Used to provide accurate physical metrics to the AI coaching system.
Basic Profile & Email: Used to create a localized account experience and personalize your dashboard.

3. Use of Google API Data (Google API Services User Data Policy)

MetaFit's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We DO NOT:

Sell your Google user data to third parties.
Use your Google user data to serve advertisements.
Transfer your Google user data to a third party except to provide or improve your fitness dashboard experience.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your fitness data is temporarily processed locally in your browser memory for real-time visualization. Permanent storage of step and calorie history remains securely within your Google Fit account. Any metadata stored (e.g., your display name) is protected using industry-standard encryption protocols.

5. Your Rights

You may disconnect your Google Account from MetaFit at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com and revoking permissions. Doing so will immediately cease all data syncing between Google and MetaFit.
